Happy Birthday to me.
My incredible wife and this increasingly crazy little boy are the gifts of a lifetime.
Jasleen,(with some great help) gave me an incredible weekend. Full of some amazing friends and moments.
God is good. All the time.

You’re welcome, world.
Apparently the Nikes have been my go to shoe for too long because multiple people thought to send us the baby version.
Anyways, son on the way in 2025. Wife is doing great. I mean I think she is, I don’t ask.
It’s gonna be incredible. Can’t wait to indoctrinate him.
Thanks to @daniiiiquiroz who I’m considering just putting on retainer.

It’s often brought to my attention that I don’t use social media correctly 🙄 which is probably true. But for all the people insistent on reminding me, I don’t care.
Anyways, got married seven months ago. Swipe for just a few of the highlights. Friends, family, a beautiful day, and like any good Texas wedding, guns.
The greatest performance by a best man ever in @zeeks_catalog , and some other amazing brothers.
May post some more pictures. So many special people I couldn’t get into one post.
Thank you to the amazing @daniiiiquiroz for always making us look good.

This is Theo. He’s been around for a couple months but I don’t know how to use social media correctly.
Growing like a weed. Check the last two photos to see the changes over just a short time. 😳😭
He’s a Lab mix I’m told. Who knows..He bi-racial for sure but puts “Black” on all his government forms. And so far equal parts intelligent and goofy. Which I think is an accurate description for his namesake inspiration too. Appreciate it @theovon 💪🏽💪🏽

It’s only a few words different, but it’s miles different in implication. This is something that seems to have become confused for many. God can love you even in your current condition, it does not mean he accepts that condition. We seem to act, think, and communicate to others that God accepts you, and doesn’t desire you to change one bit! Yay! Isn’t that good news?
God loves you. He made you. But He does not love everything about you. He doesn’t love the sin, bad choices, rebellion, and consequences thereof, that exist within all of us. And despite popular opinion, He does want to change you. In many ways it’s accurate to say that The Lord loves you IN SPITE of who, and what you are. And that is great, great news.
While it may be correct on paper, perhaps it’s become incorrect in implication to say: “God accepts me the way that I am.” Perhaps it is more accurate to say that He RECEIVES me the way that I am, but doesn’t accept it. He actually lovingly changes most of it. Again..great news 😰

Everyone is going off. I hope you take a couple minutes to maybe let thoughts like these, whether from me or another, make it through the fray. We can have warm hearts and cool heads about how we operate even now. HOW we think might be more important than what we think. And how we think determines much of what we feel and do.
